I learned alot in bridge. such as being able to expain my mind and think a little better. The program made me look at life defferently. I know from experiences that i can accomplish what I need tobecause I passed all my classes, worked very hard and seen my work improve 100%. I think that we should have famouse people that went to columbia come speak with the students to make them want to work harder and motivate them that they can make it if the famouse speaker did. Columbia motivated me that i can do anything i want and I know I can work well with others. The program was great for me from the begining to the end. I was focus with my work and made the right choice of attending the program.

Well, Well, Well, where should I start? Bridge has gone by so fast, but in this speedy four weeks, I have learned so many things. I have become a better writer, a deeper thinker, a better math student, just a overall better guy. I know that being at this school for four years I will learn so many things about life, and about myself. I already have learned things that four years of high school could never teach me. Maybe it was my attentiveness in class, or my cool professors, whatever the case I'm smarter! Bridge just simply prepared me and gave me a head start to my blooming college career. My suggestions for future Bridge programs, is keep it the same. Make these students come, if they really want to do this. Make them step up to the plate, and teach them things they've never known. Most importantly open their minds up, and make them dig deep into their brains when they think. It's all for the greater good.

My time in bridge was great. I got to meet some professors and I learned some new stuff. I learned the most in my English class. I was taught a new way of writing. This way of writing has taught me to become a clearer writer. The writing has made me clearer and now I think with more thought. My math class was fun too. I didn’t learn more new stuff, but I understand now how college math is like.
My main suggestion for bridge is to keep doing what you’re doing. I think the way I learned to way worked out for me. I also loved the choice of choosing between three different books to read because schools these days usually make kids read books that they don’t like, but with a choice the student may like one of the three books . I wasn’t excited at first, but now I’m happy I had bridge because I’m now more ready for college.

In Bridge,I learned alot of things. I learned a new writing process that i will use for my college career. I learned how to develop my sentences and essays through, so my audience can understand.Since Bridge pushed me the extra mile I would be prepared for college life. Bridge will help me be more productive and to work hard throughout college.Bridge will also help me with my patience and timing on my writing assignments. I liked the way that the instructors were hard on me because even though college isn't difficult like Bridge,Bridge will prepare me for what's to come.

I think Bridge helped me a lot. It taught me how to think in another way. In english I explored the why factor. It helped me discuus and elaborate my writing. This will help me in my field of broadcast journalism a lot. At first I was confused because we were doing a lot of creative writing but it turned out to be beneficial to me. The way Ames and Meg taught how to improve my writing really helped. BRIDGGE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Your the best Ames & Meg

I have learned so much in bridge mainly how to be a better writer. I think that will help me overall in life and in my career as an art teacher. Bridge also helped my figure out if I was ready to go to college full time, which I am. Overall this program is a great idea, it helped me prepare for school and it actually made me learn something. The one main problem I had was the fact we had class every day and it was basically like high school, but in the long run I understand it’s because time is a factor. Going to hear people talk is a great idea but I think that the speakers should have more general topics as oppose to topics that apply more to some kids then others. I totally enjoyed my time here though.

In bridge 2008 I have learned to write and prepare writin assignments thoughtfully and on time. I learned how to process papers and evauluate more contructively. In math I learned binary numerals and developed good study habits. In bridge comepletly I have learned to be more respondsible. When attending class I liked the the way the teachers got the point across and didn't just preach to us. They made sure that we understood that we fully comprehinded what we were learning be for they moved to the next assignment. I like the fact that the teachers were every strict to the extent that it would make us be on time and on point where we could us this in regular school.

Well I had a wonderful time at bridge. It really was just a good experience and I’m happy that I came. I really learned a lot and think that I got ahead of things as far as my education. Even though there were some times I thought that this was useless it proved it was otherwise. In the future I think that this will benefit me and get me ahead of the game. I really think that everything that the bridge has done will benefit inside and outside of school.

Bridge was a great experience for me. Because of bridge my writing skills have improved tremendously. Bridge has helped prepare me for my college courses. In the future I will be a better writer than when I entered bridge. Bridge also prepared me for the work load I will face in the fall. During bridge I was assigned one writing proposal a day and pages of math homework. This routine helped my study habits, now I know how to pace studying for heavy assignments. Bridge also prepared us to be more responsible. There was low tolerance for neither missing assignments nor missing class. Therefore we had to do what was necessary in order to be successful in bridge.

In Bridge I have learned how to express my thoughts in my work. I have also learned how to turn in my assignments and projects on time and I have also learned to manage multiple assignments and my time to complete them. I think that if you eliminated Math from the bridge program and added a history class; future students would be more successful in bridge. I believe that having lunch during bridge is unnecessary, if lunch was cut out, students can leave earlier and be able to complete homework assignments on time and also have more time to process their thoughts into them.
